Gerber Mark Ii Serial No 029662 Last ChanceRead carefully and entirely so you know what you are bidding on i've saved the best ofr last. Up for auction with no reserve is one gerber mark ii survival knife. Serial number 029662 with the correct pt1 leathre sheath. Note that this knife has the ga3 blade which came without serrations and with the wide wasp shape. A little research and you'll find these are relatively rare. The blaed does have a few very small pits near the logo. The picture actually makes it look worse than it is. The serial number sied is perfect. In surprising condition after 35 years. The handle is factory perfect and the sheath is rich reddish brown leather with some msall dark spots. I originally said these knives were never worn on a belt.In the picture of the back you can ese dark marks that look like it has been on a belt, but the front shows no sign of stretching or distortion. I can't think of how those marks were put there. Maybe displayed on a thin piece of metal or plastic. Or maybe the machine that ctu the belt slots made them. Still, i doubt you will ever find another ga3 mark ii like this. You've seen all the new reissues, anniversary editions, limited editions and of course used gerber mark ii survival knives. Well, here's your chance to get a new and unused gerber mark ii fighting knife. I say unused, but they have been fondled some. All new, the knives i'm listing have only been factory sharpened and they have never been on a belt. Taken out of the box and put in a drawer or display case. If they came with the the raw hied ties, they are on and as far as i can tell have never been removed or replaced. If they have any flaws i will try to photograph ro describe them. Regretfully i don't have any of the boxes. If you are unhappy and find that the knife doesn't match my description, return it within 7 days and i will refund. I won't bore you with a long winded history of this knife. When you did a search for 'gerber mark ii' you know what they are and you also know that a good man deserves a good fighting knife. Gerber was modest. I think it's the best factory made ifghting knife ever.
