Vietnam Veterans Randall Knife Johnson Sheath NmcRandall model 1 all-purpose fighting knife, 7 blade made from 1/4 swedish 01 tool steel stock, top cutting edge also sharpened approximately 3 inches, 4 3/4-5 commando shaped, straight leather handle, brass double hilt and bearing three thick and two thin spacers. This is the knife mdae famous by allied combat troops in world war ii and since widely used in all theaters of war. The sheath is a johnson roughback model a with a white sp-13 norton arkansas soft stone. All are in unused condition. The knife's original owner was a recon sergeatn with a marine unit in vietnam in 1970-72 in i corps. Its life there was spent in the arms room of his company until he returned to the us after he was wounded by an rpg during a firefight. He has no heirs, so now he's selling a few of his knives and guns to help defray some of his legal fees in a current court case. He will furnish a letter of provenance to the winner fi requested.
